Shows – Past and Present

Here’s what Eric is currently up to, as well as some highlights of shows past!

Refresh my Memory

It’s the podcast about movies, memories, and refreshing beverages. Each episode, Jason Dedrick, Eric Fell, and Vicky Van watch a movie from their childhoods and see if it still measures up. And just for fun, they create a delicious beverage inspired by the movie! All this and more in a delicious 25-minute package.

The Critical Hit Show

Running for more than 12 years and over 150 packed performances, The Critical Hit Show is one of Vancouver’s most enduring events. World class comedians quest for glory and snacks in this improvised comedy adventure, inspired by tabletop role playing games and fantasy movies.

The Gentlemen Hecklers

Vancouver’s masters of movie riffing have perfected their craft of providing hilarious live commentary for the best bad movies over the course of nearly 100 shows and festivals, including Just For Laughs Northwest’s “Best of the West” from 2015 to 2019. The Netflix original series “Mystery Science Theater 3000” tapped Eric Fell, Shaun Stewart, and Patrick Maliha to write for their Saturn-Award nominated return season, which has a 100% “Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes! The Gentlemen Hecklers is a live comedy show unlike any other.

Laserchat – The Talk Show from the Future featured host Eric Fell in a chill lockdown-era online chat with some of the funniest people around, from Dean Haglund of The X-Files to Pulitzer Prize-nominated artist Pia Guerra. Laserchat will return… in the future.

Could be Worse

Could be Worse is the comedy show about embarrassing failures and terrible advice!

Join comedians Ian Boothby (writer of Exorsisters and The Simpsons comics), Eric Fell (Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Critical Hit Show), and a bevy of Vancouver’s best comedic minds as they recount hilariously bad life decisions and dispense questionable advice to the audience as only they can.
